Biography
Mahmudullah Jayed is a sports journalist and the chief editor of BettingBangladesh. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the Department of English at a Bangladeshi university, in the Faculty of Arts, Social Science and Law.
He got interested in betting at the start of his university years, encouraged by a new friend. The beginning was far from smooth. In his words: “Betting is a field where you can’t get good results without experience. You have to learn it like a new profession.” By graduation he had studied the main betting strategies and was applying them with discipline.
After university Mahmudullah taught English language and literature at a school, but he soon realised his real passion lay in sport and the betting industry. He started editing and writing betting content for small websites, treating low-paid work as a way to learn. Within a year he was working for one of the major bookmaker review projects in Bangladesh.
Today he leads the editorial work at BettingBangladesh. Every review on this site is written by him personally, based on his own accounts and tests at each bookmaker, with a strong focus on what matters to Bangladeshi readers: cricket markets, payment methods, honest bonus terms and the legal situation.
